Apple heads to Sydney's north-west.

Apple has announced the opening of its fourth company-owned shop in Sydney this week.

The iPad maker said that the Apple retail store in Sydney's north-western suburb of Castle Hill will open at 5pm, Thursday.

Last month, CRN revealed that Apple was planning to open the shop, which is located moments away from Apple premium reseller, Next Byte, but Apple declined to confirm an opening date.

At the time Apple was advertising positions for "a new store" in Castle Towers on its website.

The shop is located in the Castle Towers Shopping Centre in Castle Hill.

Apple said its "entire product line" will be on show at the new outlet.
