Altech Computers has inked a distribution agreement with small and home office networking vendor TP-Link.
Altech was authorised to distribute the China-headquartered TP-Link with a three year warranty to Australian customers under the agreement.
Antony Sheen, managing director for Altech Computers, said the appointment of TP-Link presented an “excellent opportunity to extend its networking portfolio and offer more variety to the reseller channel”.
TP-Link joined Asus and Repotec in Altech's networking lineup.
Altech was the company's second distributor in Australia, joining Anyware.
Jason Xu, TP-Link sales director of Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa, said TP-Link would "work closely with Altech" as it readies its Australian branch office operations. It has sold internationally since 2005.
TP-Link has offices in USA, Germany, Russia, China, Germany, India, Singapore and planned to launch offices in England, Italy, Vietnam and Australia, according to its website.
Altech Computers will have the stock in early December.
