Australian value added reseller Netstar, which has traded as NetstarLogicalis since 2009, was rebranded Logicalis overnight in line with its UK-headquarted parent company.
The Cisco shop began trading as NetstarLogicalis after integrator Logacalis bought it in 2009 for $21 million. This week's rebranding was the final stage of integration.
Since the merger, Logicalis Australia has grown 20 percent and added 15 customers, including Corporate Express and the County Fire Authority Victoria, it claimed.
It also claimed that eight staff were added with additional service specialisations, including Vblock, and Cisco's Unified Computing Systems (UCS).
Logicalis anticipated further expansion and acquisition to drive growth in Australia and Asia.
Logacalis Australia chief executive Chris Meager who has retained his role said: “It was time to build a unified brand that gives us a distinct positioning and consistency across all our markets.”
