Public, private and hybrid clouds up for less than $45,000 in under four hours.

Enterprise software vendor CA Technologies has partnered with Australian integrator Digicor to launch a product designed to help companies easily deploy public, private and hybrid clouds for customers big and small.

Launched today at the CeBIT 2011 technology show in Sydney, Cloud-in-a-Box combines CA 3Tera Applogic virtual fabric with Digicor’s server and storage offerings to allow the deployment of infrastructure as a service, platform as a service and software as a service solutions in under four hours and for no more than $45,000, the companies said.

“By packaging a single cloud solution, we are making cloud accessible to the whole market – from SMB to enterprise,” said CA Australia vice president Brenton Smith.

Included in the offering were AppLogic perpetual licences with pre-packaged AppLogic appliances, a three-day AppLogic training course as well as a three-day on-site consulting service aimed at mentoring customers in how to create their own applications. On the hardware side customers receive 24 cores of Intel Xeon processors, 96GB RAM, 4.8TB storage as well as CISCO switches, all backed up by three years guaranteed next-day on-site response.

The solution would be available as of June 1, 2011.
