Veeam Software’s assault on the Australia New Zealand channel market has seen the company more than double its A/NZ partner base since early 2010, the company said.
Its global ProPartner program, a business growth tool through which all its channel partnerships run, has grown from 155 in the last year and a half to 470 across Australia and New Zealand. The list includes such partners as Verizon Business, Anittel, Interconnekt, Datacom Systems SA and NZ’s Solarix Networks.
Since launching its sister ProPartner Service Provider program 18 months ago, the company has also signed up 1000 cloud and service providers globally and 55 over A/NZ.
Regional sales manager Don Williams said the management and protection offering appeals to service providers with highly complex virtual infrastructures. He named three key features service providers were looking for in a software solution: protection, flexibility and ability to track how resources are used.
“Our focus on technical innovation and customer responsiveness means we are meeting and exceeding our customers' expectations within weeks or months, while competitors often take years,” he said. “This gives our channel partners a competitive advantage when serving their clients.”
