Following the launch of Iomega’s ioclub partner program, the company is on the hunt for Australian partners and has recently signed up two new distributors, bringing its portfolio to five.
Lan1 and Open Platform Systems (OPS) have been appointed to distribute Iomega’s product range to the physical security market, joining Ingram Micro, Dicker Data and Westcom who supply to the company’s IT SMB resellers.
Iomega recently debuted its premium partner program ioclub, which offers partners incentives as well as training, support and marketing programs. Iomega's Business Manager SMB Division for A/NZ Chester Chiew said 35 of Iomega’s 85-strong partner base had signed up for the program since its launch in September.
He said the company aimed to sign up an additional 30 premium partners per quarter.
Resellers and distributors need to earn a minimum $10,000 in revenue quarterly, and meet staffing, marketing, expertise and visibility requirements to become a premium partners.
Iomega’s portfolio is made up of network attached storage products, external hard drives, multimedia drives, and removable storage technology.
