Reports expansion of channel business.

Toshiba has signed up Synnex to distribute in Australia its full range of IT products spanning netbooks, tablets, all-in-one computers, data projectors, storage and accessories.

Angela Walker, Toshiba’s A/NZ channel sales manager said the partnership was driven by the rapid expansion of the company’s channel in Australasia.

“Toshiba’s channel business continues to grow and to ensure we are providing the best possible coverage and offers to all partners we have expanded our distribution base,” she said.

Commenting on the deal, Synnex Australia CEO Kee Ong said Synnex was well positioned to distribute Toshiba's product range to resellers and retailers.

“Adding Toshiba to our portfolio will open our customers up to a greater range of products. Toshiba will also be able to benefit from our expansive and well established customer base and industry expertise.”

Toshiba's other distributors in Australia include Ingram Micro, Dicker Data and BMS Technology.
