Glimpse of touchscreen future.

Pictures of the BlackBerry 10 Developer Alpha phone have surfaced ahead of its distribution to BB10 app developers at RIM's BlackBerry Jam conference next week.

Dug up in the forums of CrackBerry, the phone is seemingly modelled on the PlayBook’s stylings, and gives us a clue as to what to expect from a headline BlackBerry 10 handset to be outed later this year.

There are no details on specs, but we’d expect those to change ahead of a public release.  We’re excited to see a new look in the pipeline that could reignite BlackBerry’s fading smartphone limelight.
