Logicalis has acquired rival service provider Corpnet for just under $3 million.
Brisbane-based Corpnet is EMC’s largest storage vendor and also holds accreditation with data centre vendors Cisco, Hitachi, VMware and Commvault.
The company’s main offerings include storage, virtualisation, IaaS, back-up and DRaaS. Logicalis CEO Ian Cook said Corpnet’s product suite complemented Logicalis’ managed services business.
The acquisition forms part of the global solution provider’s push into the Australian market.
Corpnet was born in 2001, and later merged with e-Business Systems in 2008. The $2.7m acquisition involves a potential earn-out payment of $600,000.
