Lenovo’s A/NZ sales and product director Chris Kelly has left the company to relocate overseas as the computer giant undergoes a global geographic restructure.
The move ends Kelly’s five-year career at Lenovo. He joined the company from Dell in 2007 as enterprise director of Asia Pacific and Japan, based in Singapore.
Kelly has returned to Singapore to join a local technology start-up in an undisclosed role.
Lenovo will not seek a replacement for Kelly's position. Lenovo’s director of products solutions and alliances David Heyworth will take on some of Kelly’s former responsibilities.
The company has reshaped its global strategy to reflect four separate geographies.
The worldwide operation is now categorised under APLA (Asia Pacific, Latin America), China, North America and EMEA rather than emerging and mature markets, as previously.
No job losses have resulted from the restructure.
