Telstra has made significant changes to its mobile phone plans, increasing prices and replacing its Freedom Connect brand with Every Day Connect.
Pricing now starts at $60 per month on a 12 month contract with 1GB data, compared to the previous entry-level plan of $49 per month, also with 1GB of data.
The same Every Day Connect plan is also offered on a BYO phone contract for $50 per month.
In addition, Telstra bumped its monthly charges up by $1 across the board, with some tweaks to call and data allowances.
For example, the former $59 Freedom Connect plan previously came with $550 of calls and texts, plus 1.5GB data.
The $60 Every Day Connect replacement plan includes an extra $50 of calls and texts for a total of $600, but only 1GB of data.
The $80 Every Day Connect plan and above also come with Telstra's Unlimited Nights promotion - free talk time between 7pm-7am every night.
