Motorola has confirmed the existence of the Atrix HD smartphone.
The 4.5in device is being referred to by Motorola as a "touch tablet" - a nod towards smartphone/tablet hybrid devices such as the Samsung Galaxy Note.
The Atrix HD runs Ice Cream Sandwich with a Kevlar build, Gorilla Glass and splashproof workings. There’s an 8MP camera, 720x1280 TFT “ColorBoost” LCD and a 1.5GHz dual-core processor backed up with 1GB RAM.
Motorola is yet to release price or launch information.
