New flavour for HTC users.

Telstra has revealed HTC One X and One S owners will soon be able to access Android's 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system.

Telstra's software update page confirms HTC is currently preparing the update for users of its above devices.

The release date is yet to be confirmed.

Google unveiled the latest version of its Android operating system late last month.

The selling point of the OS is its touted ability to do away with Android lag by running operational tasks simultaneously.

Google has improved the OS' interface, keyboard, camera app, notifications and search with the latest version.
