The next iteration of Apple's iPad and iPad Mini could be slated to land as early as next month.
The news was broken by tech news site iMore, which also affirmed recent rumours that the next iPhone, the iPhone5S, would likely arrive in August.
The report confirmed recent citings of new iPad cases, at a time when accessories for other imminent Apple products appear absent.
It also addressed rumours the iPad mini would likely carry the super high-resolution retina display, which was the key reafture of the 'new' iPad or iPad 3 launched last year, as unlikely.
“Apple is not going to release iPads that costs more or don't get as good battery life as the current models," iMore reported. “So, if the next iPad mini does end up getting slated for April, it could be a spec bump, or have something other than retina as a differentiator. “
The story also speculated that the iPhone5S would likely have the same core design as the iPhone5 but that it would likely have a faster processor and better camera.
