CRN recently united vendors and resellers for an open discussion on environmental issues facing the channel

Held in the lush surrounds of Ryde-Parramatta Golf Club, CRN’s inaugural Green Golf Day addressed key industry concerns and looked at how to leverage Green when closing a sale.

50 resellers joined event sponsors Linksys, IBM, Fuji Xerox Printers and Western Digital for the breakfast briefing and a highly entertaining nine holes of golf.

IBRS analyst Kevin McIsaac started the day with several strategies resellers can use to pitch and sell Green products to customers.

Also present were Marna Bullard, vice president of worldwide marketing at Linksys, Amber Auld, distribution manager at IBM, and Tom Lewis, marketing manager A/NZ at Fuji Xerox Printers.

Each speaker took attendees through their company’s Green strategies, covering everything from streamlining packaging and using recycled materials to environmental responsibility programs and reseller education and training tools.
