Taiwanese hardware vendor Asus has added further enhancements to its new generation Eee PC equipping it with Intel’s Atom processor, a 10 inch display and 1024x600 (WSVGA) resolution.
The Eee PC 1000H is kitted out with Super Hybrid Engine technology to prolong battery lifespan.
With the Super Hybrid Engine users can adjust CPU frequency, voltage and LCD brightness to minimise system noise and energy consumption, claimed the hardware vendor.
Other features of the Eee PC 1000H: 80GB HDD includes; 1.3M pixel webcam; built-in stereo speakers and microphone; plus 3 x USB ports; and with Microsoft Windows XP operating system.
The Eee PC 1000H is now available in two colours - Pearl White and Shine Black with a recommended retail price of $699 including GST through Asus’ Eee PC resellers.
