Channel players from across the globe gathered in picturesque St. Petersburg, Russia, to hear the security vendor’s plans for the year ahead.

With a budget to match its recent success in Europe and the US, Kaspersky laid on a lavish global partner conference earlier this month.

After arriving in St. Petersburg delegates were treated to welcome cocktails at the Corinthia Nevskij Palace. The following day included presentations from CEO Eugene Kaspersky and COO Eugene Buyakin, alongside an insight into the virus lab in 2010. The day was topped off with a traditional Russian folk dinner.

The next day offered partners a regional update of Kaspersky’s achievements in EMEA, the Americas and Asia. The vendor really pulled out the stops for the evening with a gala dinner and dress ball at the historic Smolny Cathedral.

The final day included tours and team building exercises, before a farewell dinner at the Gymnasia restaurant.

With an Australian office set to open later this year, Kaspersky were clearly keen to impress and certainly spared no expense.
