AmberTech in deal with Gefen

AV peripherals vendor Gefen picks up Amber Technology (AmberTech) as a distributor.

AV distributor, Ambertech has been appointed as the distributor for Gefen products for Australia and New Zealand.

Gefen products are used in professional broadcast AV, IT and consumer electronics home theatre and digital signage applications. The company has been around since 1988.

IT offers array of solutions for connectivity including HDMI, DVI (single and dual link), HDSDI, SDI, M1, Component, S Video, Fibre Optical, VGA, Firewire, RS232 and many other peripherals.

Rod Sommerich national product manager at Ambertech said the distributor was excited about the solutions Gefen offers.

“We welcome Gefen as our newest partner and look forward to working together to provide Australian and New Zealand users with the most up to date products for IT, home theatre staging, large venues, broadcast and digital signage applications to name a few,” he said.
