New look for Fortinet in Melbourne

Security vendor Fortinet, has expanded its Australian presence with a new Melbourne team.

As part of the expansion of Fortinet in Australia, Andrew Dunkin has been appointed as Southern Region sales manager. He will be responsible for business development in Victoria, South Australia, Tasmania and Western Australia, as well as managing the daily activities of these regions.

Charles Cote, country manager, Fortinet Australia and New Zealand said: “To meet the strong demand for our unified threat management solutions, we are rapidly expanding our presence in Australia. Andrew has a deep understanding of the security industry, and we believe he will be able to continue our rapid growth in Victoria and Western Australia. Our new southern region team will also be actively supporting and recruiting channel partners in Victoria, Western Australia and Tasmania.”

Dunkin will offer Fortinet’s regional channel partners unified threat management solutions and managed security services. He has over 16 years IT industry experience and joins Fortinet from Trend Micro, where he was account manager for the Southern Region.

Karl Vogel has also joined the team as Southern Region sales engineer. He will be responsible for providing security advice to clients as well as assisting Fortinet’s channel partners in the region.
