Hello,
Last month was a difficult one for members of the VCE alliance.
We saw VMware respond to Cloud Foundry spin-off rumours and grapple with plummeting profits and CEO Paul Maritz's departure, while splashing out on a cloud start-up and updating its cloud offerings.
Partner EMC also made headlines it would rather forget as it underwent an executive reshuffle, while Cisco copped heat for apparently data-mining its customers.
The local VCE operation appointed distributor Westcon to help fuel growth in the APAC region. We spoke to Westcon's top local brass, who revealed a cloudy future was in store.
And in other news, we went inside NextDC's M1 data centre to get a peek at the flagship facility.
