EDITOR'S NOTE

Hello,

Samsung's Galaxy S III was all anyone could talk about in April. The lead-up to the launch of the highly-anticipated smartphone erupted with rumours and leaks about the phone's design and hardware. And Samsung contributed to the speculation by confirming only what chip the iPhone rival would run on.

Ultrabooks were another hot topic as vendors rushed to get their ultra-thin offerings out the door. We took a more in-depth look at the form factor Intel says will soon dominate the market in our three CRNTech April features. And the chip maker's release of its Ivy Bridge processors is sure to spawn a further flurry of ultrabooks in the coming months.

We got up close and personal with Samsung's tablet/smartphone hybrid Galaxy Note. Is the device a big smartphone or tiny tablet?

And HTC launched its flagship One X device to great fanfare. Check out our hands on.

- Allie
