Fortinet has expanded its Australian sales team by hiring three new members.

Paul Howe and Phillip Gebara join as major account managers for the northern and southern regions respectively, while Mark Connaghan joins as major account manager for Telstra, telco and managed security service providers.

“These new appointments to our existing sales team allow us even greater focus with our government and enterprise customers,” said Genevieve White, Fortinet's sales director. “We warmly welcome Paul, Phillip and Mark to the team.”

Howe and Gebara will be responsible for business development within government, healthcare, mining, resources, utilities and banking and finance sectors in their respective regions. Connaghan will be providing strategic advice to telco and managed security service provider clients.

The three new employees will report to White, who was recently appointed to sales director for Australia responsible for the channel, telco/MSSP and major account teams.

Fortinet is a high-performance network security provider headquartered in the US.
