The HP Partner Portal is the HP Reseller’s gateway to a variety of channel support resources. These include daily updated Product Catalogues, List pricing, events, services, training information and much more, visit https://partner.hp.com/
. Every partner and individual have a unique secure login so that you only see what is important for their partnership as well as anything entered by partners in the portal is for their view only. The HP Partner Portal is also a gate way to the previously mentioned HP Sales Central portal and HP University training portal.

What are the requirements for partners to join your channel program?

Three core pillars focus on driving greater partner efficiency, insight, and profitability:

Performance - To qualify for Amplify membership, partners must meet or exceed the revenue threshold for either the Synergy or Power track. To determine if a partner has met the membership threshold, HP reviews the partner’s total revenue earned from sales of eligible HP products over a look-back period of one year. By advancing our business as we achieve our mutual goals, we have provided not only revenue-based rewards, but also the opportunity to participate in ground breaking sustainability initiatives through HP Amplify Impact. Together, we have helped drive meaningful change across the global IT industry.

Collaboration - For Power and Power Services HP Amplify partners the requirement is to report on their transactional and managed business. We asked partners to consider reporting data and are excited to see the opportunities unfold with the launch of Data Insights, which creates a common point of reference that powers partner sales with innovative marketing resources, supply-chain optimization, customer service enablement, and other business intelligence resources that result in better experiences and outcomes for partners and customers.

Capability - As a standard program requirement, the Capabilities Assessment has provided not only a formal evaluation of technical expertise and operational competencies but guidance and recommendation on how to create successful customer engagements through digital experiences. HP also recognizes and promotes various forms of specializations through certification.

What types of training and education does your partner program offer?

HP resources deep into the channel with regular HP Amplify Channel Newsletters, extensive sales collateral at HP Sales Central portal and full product, solution and role based training in HP University. HP University gives partners access everything they need to successfully offer the HP portfolio in one go to location. This learning experience combines a curriculum of sales skills training, certifications and service qualifications, and product training to prepare partners to offer the HP portfolio and service it. Courses and certification are offered across various formats, including self-paced online, classroom, virtual classroom and micro learning nuggets.

Is there a cost to partners for sales/technical training and/or certification?

All self-paced courseware on HP University and collaterals on HP Sales Central are available for free to all registered HP Commercial partners. Classroom and virtual classroom classes are available at great value by quote to partner need. Most certification certificates are secured by examination and an opportunity to sit exams is available at a cost of approximately $150.

Partners can register to be HP Partner through the HP Partner portal. When business justified and agreed with the partner the partner can onboard with a partner agreement that enables the partner to access special pricing and participate in programs. On meeting key performance criteria partners can enter the HP Amplify program as a Synergy partner which is for more transactional based partnership. As partner increase performance, as well as assess and establish key capabilities and also collaborate through data sharing and business planning moving to the higher tiers of Power and Power Services.
