What are the requirements for partners to join your channel program?

To join the minimum tier, a partner must meet the following requirements: Certified/accredited sales staff, Revenue Thresholds, Signed Partner Agreement. NetApp reviews the partners’ performance against the program minimum annually to check for compliance with the program. Recurring revenue or cloud services sales volume, Sales skills / certifications, Technical skills / certifications, Solutions or architecture specialization, and Vertical market specialization.

What types of training and education does your partner program offer?

• Self-paced sales on-line training
• Hands-on sales training, including whiteboarding instruction
• Virtual instructor-led training
• Classroom based technical training that ends in certification tests (including sharing of any services-delivery IP and methodologies)
• Virtual technical labs• Hands-on technical labs
• Testing out to exhibit existing technical skills acquired without requiring completion of the curriculum (based on existing industry or vendor-specific skills)

Is there a cost to partners for sales/technical training and/or certification?

Basic sales training and basic technical training is free for all partners. For formal technical certification (entry level) and formal technical certification (advanced level),the partner pays a percentage (discount off full price).
