CitySoft shares insights on ERP and CRM
Ian Hill

What ERP or CRM brands do you supply?

CitySoft represents Sage and SAP. Sage ERP products include Sage 300c and Sage X3 ERP, while CRM products include Sage CRM. SAP ERP products include SAP Business One for SQL and SAP Business One HANA ERP, while CRM products include SAP C4C.

When did your company first get involved in this area?

CitySoft Consulting Group was formed just over five years ago as a result of a merger between City Software Business Solutions (CSBS), a SAP Business One consulting firm owned by City Software, and GPS-IT, a business systems consulting firm specialising in Sage.

What are your credentials in this area?

With our very specific focus on a small set of SAP and Sage advanced business software suites, our team members are product specialists who maintain certification on the latest editions of the vendors’ products.

Heard about any cool developments lately?

Sage has finally released Sage 300c, its business software system for small- to medium-sized enterprises boasting web client technology. SAP is close to launching C4C for SAP Business One in ANZ. C4C is a best-of-breed CRM system that is deeply integrated with SAP Business software.

Can you tell us about a recent ERP or CRM deployment?

Fyna Foods, a manufacturer of confectionery products including Wizz Fizz and Pink Lady Chocolates, chose to add BatchMaster software for process manufacturing and warehouse control to its existing SAP Business One software.

What is driving customers’ ERP and CRM projects?

There is strong demand from mid-sized enterprises replacing end-of-life ERP systems as well as demand from SMEs that have been sold the dream of cloud ERP, only to discover that the technology alone is no replacement for a product’s functional capabilities and depth.

ERP and CRM are...?

Changing rapidly.
