What infrastructure or cloud vendors underpin your managed services offering?

CSC has partnerships with and delivers managed services to clients using most of the major cloud service providers in both public and private cloud configurations. We are a gold partner for Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services, while we also provide our own private Bizcloud services.

What remote monitoring and management vendors do you work with?

Multiple vendors such as CA, Nimsoft and eMite.

What ITSM vendors do you work with?

Most of the standard vendors such as Microsoft and Remedy. However, we are the biggest ServiceNow partner globally and have implemented more than 70 percent of the Australian ServiceNow instances.

When did your company first get involved in this area?

CSC has provided managed services for more than 50 years.

What distributors do you use to support your managed services offering?

We work with multiple providers and also with the distributors our clients use.

Can you tell us about any recent work you’ve done?

In April, we signed a three-year contract with Transport for NSW to provide network managed services across the department’s 1200 sites, including administration offices, motor registries, roadside depots and railway stations. The agreement is valued at more than $100 million and includes the option of two one-year extensions.

What is driving customers towards managed services?

A desire to focus on their core business and rely on a trusted partner to keep critical ICT ecosystems available to support customer engagement and business operations.

Managed services is…?
