Service and cost reduction drives print: EFEX

With EFEX chief executive Nick Sheehan.

What printing brands and services do you specialise in?

We provide managed print services to companies ranging from small-to-medium businesses to large corporations. We specialise in Kyocera and Fuji Xerox, and also provide a range of cost-down solutions aimed at reducing paper and increasing digitisation within a business.

When did your company first get involved in this area?

2013.

What certifications do you have that apply to printing?

We’ve been ranked within Australia’s fastest growing companies two years running in BRW, and also placed second two years running in the CRN Fast50.

Which distributors do you use?

We use Dynamic Supplies and Alloys.

Have you heard about any cool or interesting developments in the printing space?

The biggest move in print is the ability to drive solutions from a multi-function device. We’ve implemented a number of human resources and payroll solutions that have drastically cut the human intervention required to complete mundane and time-prohibitive workflows.

Can you tell us about a recent printing deployment you have done?

We recently installed a range of Kyocera multi-function devices and Fuji Xerox printers
at the New South Wales Institute of Sport. We coupled this hardware with a print-tracking solution to drive their cost base lower and increase operational efficiencies.

What is driving customers’ printing projects?

Cost reduction and better service. That’s all there is.

Printing is...?

A necessity that will open doors for smart operators to introduce like-products and
services to their client base.
