We first got involved in this area in July 2012.

We’ve undertaken the OKI service training and we are an authorised ChannelOne partner.

Who are your main distributors for printing technology?

We buy from OKI directly.

Heard about any cool developments in print lately?

Yes, the launches in Newcastle and on the Central Coast of the OKI C941 white and clear toner A3 LED printer. There is a wide range of applications for this device, including the ability to print on coloured media, for example in the restaurant industry where they may want to put forward a black piece of paper with white writing on it for their menus. 

Tell us about a recent printing deployment

This particular model was deployed at a wedding design company who decided they would use the technology to replace their old chalkboards. Now they use our printer to print signs with white writing on black stock. It used to take them over an hour to handwrite a signboard; now they print it out in about 30 seconds.

What is driving customers’ printing projects?

The quality of some of the devices. In fact, OKI themselves produce most of their brochures in-house.
