As another year winds down, it's time to plan for the festive season ... and for the fact that even distributors get some time off!
Which is why CRN has collected the seasonal opening hours for Australia’s major distributors in one place, so you know when you can get your hands on kit before the holidays.
We will continue to update this list as more distributors provide their cut-off times.
ACA Pacific will close between 24 and 27 December 2019, and again on 1 January 2020.
The distie said partners should place orders as soon as possible to avoid any delays.
Alloys offices will close from 25 to 26 December, reopening on 30 and 31 December in Melbourne with a skeleton crew.
Branches will close again on the 1 January public holiday, and open for half-days on 2 and 3 January with a skeleton crew.
Arrow’s order management and logistics teams will be operating through regular business hours of 8:30AM to 5:30PM AEDT other than the three public holidays (25, 26 December, and 1 January)
Auroz will be closed from Monday the 23rd of December 2019, re-opening for 2020 on Monday the 6th of January.
Orders will continue to be processed and dispatched up until Noon on Friday the 20th of December.
Our freight carriers have recommended the following order dates for deliveries required prior to Christmas:
Bluechip’s facilities will be closed from 25 December to 2 January.
The last shipping day will be 24 December, with orders in New South Wales cut-off after 2pm. Same goes for Victoria, but orders in Western Australia cut-off at 12pm.
Dicker Data will operate during its usual hours, but will be closed on the three public holidays (25, 26 December, and 1 January).
Orders for physical shipments will cut off on 24 and 31 December at 1:30PM, rather than the standard 3PM.
Extreme is open every day except public holidays - December 25 and 26, plus January 1st.
Ingram provided us with individual cut-off times for each day in the lead up to Chrissy (see image above, open in new Tab for optimal visibility), along with a brief statement.
"As we approach the upcoming holiday period, Ingram Micro will be adjusting order and shipping cut-off times across selected days.
"To avoid any delivery disruptions, please make note of the below trading hours and ensure your orders are placed before the cut-off period.
"Any orders placed after the cut-off time will be processed on the next business day."
Leader will be open every day over the break except for Friday 27 December.
Order cut-offs for road deliveries will end at 3PM local time for each state, and 6PM AEST for air deliveries.
Standard order cut-offs will apply over Christmas. Mia's facilities will close on 24 and 25 December, and again on 2 and 3 January.
Order cut-off will stay the same until 24 December, when they'll stop at 3PM.
Nextgen's offices will close on 25, 26, 27 December, and again on 1 January. All other days will be business as usual.
Nextgen also noted that quote requests on 24 December will cut off from 12PM.

Westcon will be open and operate as normal over the break except for the three public holidays (25, 26 December, and 1 January).
