If you walk into a shop today, you’ll be bombarded with everything from discount signs to muzak and free samples of chocolate. But that's nothing compared to the latest technologies and tactics being dreamed up to help shop owners make sales, showcased at the Retail Expo 2012 last week.
Photographed above: Quirky. We spotted this video name tag/business card being worn by the representative of a company called Ozibadge. It's 2.8in in size and the company claims it will run up to 10 hours per charge. When we asked what you’d use it for, we were told restaurants might use it on waiters to show-off menu items. Ozibadge also thinks it might be good for casinos and nightclubs. The badge can also play audio.
