Colocation provider NextDC pulled together 40 of its staff, partners and customers to participate in the 2019 Around the Bay bike ride in Melbourne, held on 6 October 2019.
The 200km ride aimed to raise money for education for disadvantaged children, as part of NextDC's ‘Live to Give’ corporate social responsibility initiative, with The Smith Family signing on as a major partner.
“We’re incredibly proud to be involved in the Around the Bay ride for the second year running. At NEXTDC, we have an ongoing commitment to playing our part for the next generation, and our corporate partnership with The Smith family is just one example," NextDC chief executive Craig Scroggie said.
"It’s incredibly exciting to see the team come together for such a great cause, and it’s a little more special when we get to do it with the people who make our business what it is, our people, our partners, customers and suppliers.”
The ride is also sponsored by Greenbox, Over The Wire, RXP Group, CRS, ABB, Penske, Deloitte and Multiplex.
