Arinco and D6 Consulting will be integrating as one single entity to make it simpler for customers to engage with Arinco as a single, end-to-end partner for AI-led transformation.

This isn’t seen as a merger or acquisition, as both companies operate under the Connectico umbrella.

Founded in July 2022, D6 Consulting focuses on project and program management, business analysis and business consulting, with a particular focus on AI, cloud and data transformation.

As part of Arinco, the team’s business consulting and delivery excellence will complement Arinco’s existing specialisations in AI, data, digital applications, cloud, modern work, security and Co-Ops, creating a more comprehensive offering for organisations across ANZ.

Chris Padgett, CEO at Arinco told CRN Australia that this move will bring both company’s teams, capabilities and services together formally for the first time.

"As Microsoft focuses more on organisation-wide AI adoption, bringing D6 into Arinco aligns our structure with the way these programs are delivered, combining business consulting, program delivery and technical implementation under one team,” he said.

Under the new entity, no staff will lost their jobs and customers shouldn’t feel the affects of this move, according to Padgett.

He said, “All team members are being retained, and existing projects will continue seamlessly. Customers will benefit from having a single, integrated partner that can support them across the full spectrum of business consulting, delivery and technology.”

Padgett said this integration “strengthens” Arinco’s position as a Microsoft partner for AI-led transformation.

“By combining business consulting, program delivery and technical execution within one structure, we’re better positioned to support customers undertaking large-scale, complex transformation programs that span both business and technology outcomes,” he said.

Padgett said D6 brings deep experience in business consulting, project and program management, and business analysis, which are all areas that complement Arinco’s technical expertise.

“Together, we can now offer customers a full end-to-end transformation experience: aligning strategy, delivery and technology execution,” he explained.

For the next year, Padgett said they will be focused on scaling all Arinco capability areas, with a particular focus on AI, while expanding their footprint across ANZ and deepening partnerships with Microsoft and our customers.

“We’ll continue to invest in our people, innovation and AI-led capabilities to help more organisations accelerate their transformation journeys,” he said.

The deal is effective from 1 November 2025, with integration activities already underway.
