Atturra has acquired MSP Blue Connections aligning with its strategy to be one of the leading service providers in Australia.

The service provider purchased Blue Connections for $25 million, the deal is expected to close August 31, 2025.

According to Atturra, Blue Connections is expected to contribute more than $2.5m EBITDA in FY26 and more than $3.5m EBITDA in FY27.

Blue Connections delivers a comprehensive suite of IT solutions through its network operations centre, supporting clients across networking, security, unified communications, and collaboration.

It also a Microsoft Partner and a certified Microsoft Cloud Solution Provider, managing and billing Microsoft Azure Cloud solutions.

Stephen Kowal, CEO at Atturra told CRN Australia that managed services are a core component to this, and scale is important.

“Blue Connections have strong capabilities in Modern Workplace and a state-of-the-art network operations centre,” he said.

Kowal noted that this acquisition will establish a key operational hub for the business in Victoria, supporting continued national expansion.

In May, the service provider acquired DelRae solutions, when asked if there are any more deals to be announced, Kowal said the company is “always open to exploring more acquisition targets”.

“Our strategy is to grow our revenue by 20 percent year on year, with a mix of organic and inorganic,” he noted.

Kowal told CRN Australia all Blue Connections employees will come under the Atturra brand.

“We will integrate the business within our Managed Services business unit within the next 6-12 months,” he said.

This acquisition will be a “positive impact” to Blue Connections’ customers, Kowal said.

“We have now a broader offering we can take to them. We have a reputation of keeping the businesses we acquire to operate in much the same way as they used to, so we don't break the model that made them successful,” he said.

Blue Connections has been providing IT solutions and managed services since 1997.

Its Melbourne facilities include an experience centre, training centre, configuration zone and warehouse. It specialises in delivering end to end solutions including traditional on-premises infrastructure, virtualisation, consolidation, and disaster recovery and a full managed services offering.
