Systems integrator Brennan is scaling up its WA operations, increasing its local headcount and securing major wins with new business across government and resources.

The company has picked up contracts with major customers in the state, including Monadelphous, HanRoy and Peet, along with several other projects spanning managed services through to transformation projects.

With demand for modern, end-to-end IT services from WA organisations looking to scale, digitise and improve cybersecurity, the business expects to expand its team to more than 100 tech specialists in Perth within the next two years.

“There’s a need to increase local headcount to deliver on-the-ground expertise and responsive localised support,” said Nick Sone, chief customer officer, Brennan.

The business growth comes on the back of Brennan’s recent appointment to the state Technology Infrastructure and Solutions (TIS) panel and follows its acquisition of local IT services provider MOQDigital.

“We see a significant role for Brennan in WA’s government sector, where we’re leveraging our sovereign secure-by-design solutions to demonstrate capability and build trust,” he said.

The company is seeing a wealth of opportunities across the resources sector and aligned services along with state and local government. It’s also finding not-for-profit and healthcare are creating opportunities across the state.

“In the resources sector, we have an evolving catalogue of services tailored to industry needs, positioning us as a long-term technology partner for the sector,” he said.

The goal is creating real value for WA businesses and their end users and the local expansion offers choice, innovation and proven sovereign capability, according to Sone.

“We’re targeting growth across multiple sectors, with a focus on services that enhance the customer experience, from cybersecurity and cloud to networking and managed services,” he said.

Sone said the WA market is crying out for a sovereign systems integrator with the capability to deliver end-to-end solutions.

“We’ve noticed a huge appetite from businesses and governments since entering the market as it has presented greater competition,” he ended.
