Customer Science appoints Chris Borg as inaugural partner manager
New hire signals company focus on co-creation with partners and aligning strategy and execution as AI reshapes CX.
Customer Science has appointed Chris Borg as its first partner manager, charged with strengthening and extending the partner program.
Borg was most recently CEO of Arinum Solutions and brings extensive experience in channel leadership, customer experience and business growth roles.
According to Borg, he was attracted to the opportunity to harness his experience building partnerships that move from strategy to execution at an organisation dedicated to real impact for customers.
“Customer Science has a great reputation in the CX community, smart people, easy to work with and genuinely focused on delivering outcomes,” he said.
Customer Science created the role to help partners deliver greater value by harnessing its model of interconnected solutions and expertise.
“The timing is right to strengthen and grow that ecosystem as more organisations look for integrated solutions that combine advice, technology and delivery,” Borg told CRN Australia.
Borg is focused on creating closer ties between service delivery, advisory support and partners and seizing the opportunities of developing scalable models at a time of rapid change.
“I believe the organisations that align execution capability with strategic intent will define the next decade of CX,” he said.
Borg will continue the company’s philosophy of “better together” that includes initiatives such as the CX Showcase event and strengthening its CX Integrator model. Partners can expect a continued emphasis on co-creation over resale.
“This enables each partner to contribute their strength within a shared architecture designed to deliver measurable, end-to-end customer outcomes,” he said.
With AI shaking up business and technology processes, there’s a greater need to align strategy, capability and execution.
Customer Science wants to help partners to operationalise AI and move from proof-of-concept to scalable, value-driven solutions. It’s about connecting the dots piece to deliver practical, measurable results.
“Our approach brings structure and clarity so everyone involved, from vendor, implementation partner and customer, can see where they fit and how to succeed together,” he said.
As he takes the reins, Borg’s priority is laying the right foundations for long-term partnerships, not one-off projects.
“That means understanding our ecosystem, aligning strengths and putting in place clear ways of working that make it easy for everyone to succeed,” he ended.
