Vincent Troth named Data#3 WA general manager

The recent hire underscores the company’s focus on excellence and growth.

Technology services and solutions provider Data#3 has appointed Vince Troth as general manager as it continues to focus on its regional growth.

This appointment comes as the company focuses on its leadership and customer service within WA.

Troth’s appointment marks a significant step in Data#3’s continued investment in the Western Australian market.

Speaking to CRN Australia, Troth said what drew him to this role was the people-first culture at Data#3.

“The company embodies its vision to ‘Harness the power of people and technology for a better future’, and its core values of H.E.A.R.T. - honesty, excellence, agility, respect, and teamwork) strongly resonate with me,” he said.

“As Deputy Chair of the Australian Information Industry Association (AIIA), I’ve had the opportunity to work closely with numerous organisations across the digital ecosystem, and Data#3’s reputation for integrity, innovation, and meaningful impact has always stood out.”

He also highlighted Data#3’s focus on customer success as the foundation of its purpose, consistently prioritising customers in its strategic approach.

“This commitment to enabling customers to achieve their goals and deliver tangible results aligns deeply with my own professional principles,” he said.

In his first year, Troth’s priority is to listen to their people, customers, and partners to understand the unique aspects of the business here in WA.

“I’m eager to engage with customers, technology partners, and industry associations to foster strong, collaborative relationships,” he said.

“With the new financial year about to begin, it’s an exciting time to step into this role and contribute to Data#3’s FY26 kickoff while helping shape and implement our services and solutions strategy and business plan.

As Data#3’s general manager for WA, he will focus on leading and managing the state business with an emphasis on strategic execution, business growth, and operational excellence.

“My commitment extends to driving cross-functional collaboration to enable sustainable performance and, more importantly, supporting the growth and development of our talented WA team,” he said.

“Additionally, I aim to build upon WA’s connection with the broader Data#3 business, ensuring seamless integration with the company’s industry-leading strategy and leveraging our go-to-market approach to deliver exceptional outcomes for our customers.”

Troth has had various leadership roles across several leading technology companies including Schneider Electric, Fuji Xerox, and Optus.

He begins his role Monday June 16, 2025.
