InTechnology Distribution is set to expand its global reach, acquiring the intechnology.com domain as a new unified, recognisable digital identity to coincide with its 25-year anniversary in business.

It will serve as a central platform to enhance its visibility and access for global partners, customers and vendors.

InTechnology Distribution CEO Mark Winter said it was a strategic decision to support its growing portfolio of globally sourced technologies across communications, security, mobility and location-based services.

Some 12 months in the making, it required detailed negotiations and alignment with the broader digital and brand strategy.

“The domain strengthens our global brand presence and our ability to engage new markets,” Winter told CRN Australia.

Targeting growth in sectors where compliance and resilience are critical

The business is working to scale its presence across the Asia Pacific region and North America, with a focus on sectors such as healthcare, critical infrastructure and emergency services where safety, compliance and operational resilience are mission-critical.

“There’s a wave of innovation in key technology areas that’s transforming how organisations operate in high-risk, high-value environments,” Winter said.

The technologies showing the greatest impact include advanced real-time location systems, intelligent communications platforms, enterprise mobility, artificial intelligence of things (AIoT) and compliance-driven safety solutions.

In healthcare, it helps faster coordination of care, secure mobility platforms and location systems are improving asset visibility, AIoT platforms improving building efficiency and healthier environments.

“Organisations across all sectors are looking for greater visibility and control over their people, assets and environments,” Winter said.

To help customer adoption, inTechnology maintains a focus on evolving industry standards and regulatory frameworks, working with industry bodies to ensure the technologies it provides meet these standards.

“Across industries, organisations are seeing gains in operational intelligence, productivity, compliance and overall resilience,” he added.

No industry is immune from the impact of generative AI and Winter said it’s changing decision making, predictive insights, advanced automation and customer engagement.

“Across industries, we’re seeing rapid development of GenAI-powered tools for intelligent incident management, proactive asset monitoring, automated reporting and adaptive training,” he said.

Leaning into its skill for spotting disruptive technologies

Operating across Australia, New Zealand and the Asia Pacific, the business specialises in communications, mobility, security and location-based technologies, working with providers including Spok, Spectralink, Quuppa, AiRISTA Flow and Sidos Systems.

Winter says inTechnology’s specialty is spotting emerging trends and identifying the right technologies for its broad customer base.

“We’re constantly engaged with global innovators, industry forums and our end-user community to track where technology is heading and ensure we are bringing the most relevant solutions to market,” he said.

Winter plays an active role in the process, drawing on a global network of relationships to identify proven innovations and adapt them to meet the requirements of local markets including healthcare, aged care, manufacturing, logistics and government.

“We seek out technologies that address their operational and compliance challenges and deliver clear value,” he ended.
