Okta has appointed Mike Reddie as its new general manager and VP for ANZ, who is focused on building a strong ecosystem of partners.

In his role, he will play a key role in advancing the company’s partner-first strategy and driving business specialisation.

Speaking to CRN Australia about his partner strategy, Reddie said, “The channel is absolutely central to Okta’s future growth strategy in ANZ.

“As identity becomes more strategic to both security and business transformation, we are focused on building upon a strong and diverse ecosystem covering all types of partners, from global systems integrators and regional consultancies to value-added resellers and distributors.”

Spending a great deal of his career running partner businesses himself, Reddie said a key priority for him is to deepen collaboration across the partner network and ensure they are enabling mutual success.

“That could be through joint go-to-market initiatives, targeted solution selling, or shared innovation outcomes for customers,” he said.

“We want our partners to feel confident in leading with Okta, knowing we are committed to their success and to delivering impactful outcomes for customers.”

Reddie will also lead Okta’s growth strategy in the Australian and New Zealand market, with a focus on expanding customer success, strengthening the company’s high-performance culture, and deepening local team engagement.

He has nearly more than 30 years of experience across cloud, security, networking, applications, AI and data platforms.

Ben Goodman, SVP and general manager APJ at Okta said, “Reddie’s deep technical expertise, business acumen, and strong connection to the local market make him the ideal leader to help ANZ organisations strengthen their identity posture and thrive in this environment.”

Reddie has held a range of senior leadership roles across EMEA and APJ, with a primary focus on the ANZ region.

Prior to joining Okta, he led ServiceNow’s Technology Workflows division, VMware’s Cloud business, and Singtel Optus’ Cloud portfolio.

He also served as Managing Director at Ensyst and held earlier leadership and technical roles at Alphawest, Broadreach (as CTO), and Citigroup UK.
