NinjaOne has appointed Geoff Davies as VP and country manager for ANZ to deepen partner ties and expand its footprint across ANZ and the wider APAC region.

Davies brings long-term sales experience in the local market and is tasked with delivering value to IT teams and MSPs.

“We want to be known as the easiest and most rewarding vendor to work with, focused on delivering predictable, recurring revenue and strong margins,” Davies told CRN Australia.

NinjaOne specialises in automated endpoint management and is investing heavily in enablement, certification and demand generation to help partners scale their businesses.

“We’re also actively onboarding new reseller partners aligned to our long-term growth and vision for customer success,” Davies said.

Davies noted that the Australian partner ecosystem is maturing quickly.

“We're seeing a real shift toward specialisation – whether that be cybersecurity, managed services or cloud-first consulting,” he said.

In response, partners are favouring vendors that offer simplicity, automation and strong post-sales support.

“Partners who are helping customers reduce costs and simplify IT operations are retaining business and winning new clients, and we want to support our partners on this initiative,” he said.

Prioritising partner engagement

Davies is kicking off his time at NinjaOne meeting with key partners and distributors such as HAT Distribution and Bluechip to understand their challenges and business goals.

“We’re doubling down on our commitment to local partners through demand generation, localised support, dedicated partner managers, and tailored go-to-market initiatives,” Davies told CRN Australia.

Partner initiatives include co-branded campaigns, regional enablement sessions and incentives designed to drive net-new customer acquisition.

“Ultimately, we see our success as directly tied to partner success, and NinjaOne is building a long-term ecosystem around that belief,” he said.

Simplifying IT and security solutions for customers

Davies told CRN IT teams are stretched thin dealing with endpoint sprawl, talent shortages and the need to do more with less.

In response, customers want unified solutions that reduce complexity, improve visibility and automate manual tasks and NinjaOne is prioritising solutions that address these pain-points.

“Whether it's automated patching, remote support, SaaS Backup or unified monitoring, we hope to make life easier for both partners and their customers,” he said.

Businesses are also facing daily security threats, yet they lack the in-house expertise to manage endpoint security effectively, he noted.

NinjaOne wants to combine automation with real-time monitoring, alerting and compliance tools across its partner solutions, particularly for smaller outfits that don’t have in-house resources.

“Security is top of mind for every organisation right now, especially in the SMB and mid-market segments,” he said.
