Paras Chadha will lead an expanded role as Logicalis head of business, Microsoft and artificial intelligence (AI), adding Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) to his existing Asia-Pacific (APAC) responsibilities.

Chadha’s expanded remit brings ANZ and APAC under one unified Microsoft and AI strategy to drive further growth and alignment between regional and global go-to-market strategies.

“Being based in Australia will allow me to leverage my deep understanding of local customer priorities, from healthcare to local councils, and apply these ANZ insights to both APAC and global strategy,” Chadha said.

He will now oversee customer success, partner engagement and solution innovation across the Microsoft ecosystem. The move provides a unified brand message while allowing the business to align with global best practices and delivering locally relevant solutions.

“It ensures customers benefit from innovation and shared intellectual property across regions,” Chadha said.

Logicalis’s collaboration with Microsoft is central to its strategy and Chadha will play a key role in strengthening the partnership across the region and accelerating the adoption of cloud, AI, analytics and data management applications.

Regional adoption of AI driving the need for alignment

Australia and APAC are rapidly adopting cloud and digital innovation, with a high appetite for AI and security, but often more fragmented deployment and execution across markets.

“Compared to more mature global markets, APAC organisations tend to be more agile and willing to pilot innovations quickly,” Chadha told CRN Australia.

Logicalis has seen sustained growth across the region, with organisations seeking efficiency gains, competitive differentiation and improvements in employee and customer experiences.

However, regional organisations face challenges in scaling adoption, complying with a diverse set of regulations and interoperability across systems.

Organisations are looking for guidance on technology choices as well as how to implement responsibly, securely, and at scale, Logicalis has found.

“This presents a strategic opportunity for Logicalis to bring structured, scalable solutions to market, leveraging our global assets while tailoring for regional nuances,” Chadha said.
