Rubrik selects Stefan Compagnoni as ANZ channel director
Plans to expand the current capability of its ANZ partners.
Security company Rubrik has appointed Stefan Compagnoni as its channel director for Australia and New Zealand.
He comes from Extreme Networks where he was the head of channel and distribution ANZ. Compagnoni brings more than 10 years’ experience from both the vendor and distributor sides of the channel.
Compagnoni said he was drawn to Rubrik for its differentiated cyber recovery offering, strong global growth, and proven leadership. These were factors he saw as key to driving partner success and market impact.
Compagnoni told CRN Australia his plans as the new ANZ head of channel at Rubrik.
“My priorities as head of channel ANZ are expanding the capability of our current partners, onboarding new partners to expand Rubrik’s reach, and ensuring our partners are building a profitable partnership with Rubrik while supporting their customers in achieving cyber resiliency,” he said.
David Rajkovic, RVP at Rubrik ANZ, said Compagnoni’s diverse background, deep understanding of the channel, and his broad partner relationships made him the perfect candidate for the role.
“As a completely channel-driven organisation, our partners are at the heart of everything we do. Stefan’s appointment reinforces our commitment to strengthening those local relationships and establishing new ones,” he said.
Compagnoni said Rubrik is a channel-first vendor with a strong focus on driving activity and awareness to support customer demand for Rubrik solutions.
“As a leader in data protection, we want our partners to ‘be the hero’ when incidents occur, rapidly recovering their customer’s operations with minimal disruption,” he said.
Compagnoni noted that he understands the challenges and complexities partners face and the need to drive value-based conversations that help partners differentiate.
“My background in distribution will help deliver more value to our partners, ensuring we are easy to do business while allowing partners to focus on growing their business,” he added.
For his first year in the organisation he said he wants to drive “stronger awareness” in the partner community on “the value that Rubrik delivers in delivering cyber resiliency.”
He began his role on September 1.
