Steve Bray to head ANZ sales for Verkada
He was previously the VP ANZ at Cloudflare.
Former Cloudflare VP Steve Bray has been appointed to VP of Australia and New Zealand at enterprise security company Verkada.
Announcing his new role via a LinkedIn post, Bray said, “I’m very fortunate to share my next play: leading sales across Australia and New Zealand for Verkada, a company that’s redefining physical security.”
In his announcement he discussed the company’s strengths as a security provider.
“Verkada’s security platform brings all of the latest advancements in AI and computer vision together under a single pane of glass, bringing critical visibility and insight that helps organisations better protect their people and places.”
Bray continued saying, “I can’t think of a more meaningful mission than making communities across ANZ safer. A massive thank you to Hans Robertson, Filip Kaliszan, Eric Salava and Jonathon Dixon for the opportunity to join Verkada, and to the amazing teammates who’ve welcomed me during my first week in HQ.
“Can’t wait to hit the ground running!”
Bray has been working in technology for the past 20 years. He began his technology career at Oracle, working there for a decade in sales and then finishing as general manager, ERP applications. Since then, he has held roles at Salesforce and Zendesk both as sales VP.
His recent tenure was at Cloudflare as the vice president for the Australian and New Zealand region, where he held that role for 18 months.
Verkada is a global enterprise security company that has six specific product lines from cameras to intercoms, alarms and air quality control.
Beginning in 2016, the company was founded by Filip Kaliszan, Hans Robertson, James Ren, and Benajmin Bercovitz.
The company boasts more than 30,000 customers, 8,400 global partners, and 2,200 staff members globally. Verkada has 15 offices worldwide including Sydney, Singapore, Tokyo, London and New York.
He began his role in April 2025. CRN Australia has reached out to Bray for further comment.
