Dicker Data signs partnership agreement with video conferencing company, Insta360
The company specialises in AI-powered video conferencing products.
Dicker Data has parntnered with video conferencing brand Insta360 to distribute its commercial range of business solutions across the country.
The new partnership aligns with Dicker Data’s commitment to providing the broadest and most advanced vendor lineup for meeting room solutions, supporting the company’s 10,000 plus partners nationwide.
Luke Trinh, GM of Dicker Data’s hardware business unit said, “Their technology enables our partners to deliver smarter, more flexible, and more inclusive meeting experiences, addressing the needs of today’s hybrid workplace.”
Some of the company’s products include the 4K AI Webcam Link 2, Insta360 Connect Dual 4K Video Bar, and the Insta360 Wave speakerphone.
Ben Johnson, marketing and strategy at Dicker Data told CRN Australia the partnership expands the choice we offer their partners in the video conferencing segment.
“The Insta360 range covers both devices for individuals and for meeting rooms, bringing AI capabilities to both,” he said.
Jason Sun, Global Sales Director, B2B, Insta360 said, "We're honored to partner with Dicker Data, a powerful and forward-looking brand.
“As a new but fast-growing player in conferencing, Insta360 is redefining futuristic innovations that are high-quality and simplified. With Dicker Data’s rich expertise, we are truly excited to refresh the modern workspace, and AV market."
Johnson said hybrid work is here to stay and meeting equity is increasingly important.
“Whether joining the meeting from your desk, a meeting room or remotely, each attendee should have the opportunity to be seen and heard clearly,” he said.
“Remote work has driven the need for AI noise cancelling to enable people to join meetings from busy environments and still actively participate.”
“As people present, it's important to have AI enabled devices that track movements and focus on what the user is showing. Also when presenting from meeting rooms, AI is great for identifying the person speaking and spotlighting them so all virtual attendees can clearly see them.”
Johnson told CRN Australia that Dicker Data is seeing a demand in video conferencing tools.
"New office fit outs come with an expectation of access to enterprise grade meeting room technology,” he said.
“Meeting equity is important, so people have an equal voice and participation in the meeting, regardless of their location.
“People are travelling less and video conferences are now an acceptable forum that has replaced many face to face meetings that would have taken place pre-COVID. Having the right technology to enable these conversations is important.”
