Ingram Micro expands leadership team as it aims to help partners grow

Kaaren Lewis and Mo Kandeel appointed as directors for the distributor.

Distributor Ingram Micro Australia has appointed two new executives into its leadership team, Kareen Lewis and Mo Kandeel to help support customer needs across the company’s portfolio.

Lewis will step into the role of director, advanced solutions, cybersecurity, hybrid business applicatiions and cloud. Kandeel will take on the role of director, end point devices and specialty.

Hope McGarry, executive managing director at Ingram Micro Australia told CRN Australia with Lewis and Kandeel onboard, they’re doubling down on their commitment to helping partners grow.

“Their deep expertise and strong industry relationships will enhance our ability to leverage the full breadth of our local expert teams - teams we’ve significantly invested in to deliver seamless, end-to-end support,” she said.

“Over the next 12 months, their leadership will be key to unlocking new opportunities and maximising value for our partners.”

McGarry explained how these appointments align with Ingram Micro’s strategy.

With more than 25 years’ experience in sales, channel, and go-to-market leadership across global tech vendors, Lewis has helped drive cloud growth, lead complex transformations, and bring innovative models to life.

At Ingram Micro, she is focused on enabling the next wave of growth across advanced solutions—bringing together relationships, capability and execution.

Kandeel is a highly regarded leader with over 25 years of experience in the ANZ channel ecosystem.

He brings a proven track record of driving transformational growth, underpinned by deep industry insight and a strong network across the channel landscape.

In his role, he will oversee vendor relationships, including HPI, Lenovo, Eaton, Meta as well as the data capture / point of sale and pro AV teams.

Kandeel’s career spans senior roles in both distribution and with global vendors, where he consistently delivered strong commercial outcomes and long-term business impact.
