Ingram Micro pens distribution deal with Apple device management brand, Jamf
Jamf specialises in Apple device management and security
Ingram Micro Australia has signed a new distribution agreement with Jamf that will see the distributor deliver a suite of Apple-first solutions.
These Apple-first solutions will enable Ingram Micro’s channel partners to better support the growing demand for secure and scalable Apple deployments in business, government, education, and healthcare.
John Hollings, director of consumer solutions at Ingram Micro Australia told CRN Australia, “Jamf provides a great opportunity for Ingram Micro to further assist our resellers in supporting their end users to deploy Apple products.”
Through this deal, Hollings said he wants to help their resellers “provide the best solutions for their end customers”.
“We look forward to offering our partners education and training on Jamf, and supporting end user opportunities as much as we can,” he said.
“This collaboration allows our resellers to access best-in-class Apple management and security solutions, better enabling their customers to work more simply, securely, and efficiently with Apple technology – whether in the office, at home, or in the classroom.”
Lloyd Thomas, senior channel manager, APAC at Jamf said teaming up with Ingram Micro Australia is a “major milestone” as they continue to scale their channel footprint in APAC.
“Their local expertise, trusted reseller network, and strong focus on enablement make them the ideal partner to bring Jamf to more organisations looking to get the most out of their Apple investments,” he said.
Through this relationship, Ingram Micro Australia will now offer Jamf’s portfolio, including three new purpose-built solutions launched in early 2025, Jamf for Mac, Jamf for Mobile and Jamf for K-12.
Jamf for Mac combines management, identity, and endpoint security for Mac devices with simple deployment, strong protection, and user-focused workflows.
Jamf for mobile is a mobile-first solution for managing and securing iOS, iPadOS, tvOS, and visionOS devices, built with zero-trust principles and mobile threat defence.
Jamf for K–12 is designed specifically for education, offering seamless management, classroom workflows, and secure access for students and teachers alike.
Jamf’s solutions are used by more than 76,500 organisations worldwide, managing over 33.2 million Apple devices. Jamf has zero-touch deployment to robust endpoint protection.
