Interactive and Dicker Data expand partnership to include data centre services
Interactive sees this expansion as the next logical step in its relationship with the distie.
IT service provider Interactive has expanded its partnership with Dicker Data adding data centre services to its agreement.
This collaboration enabled resellers and their customers to access solutions for maintaining IT infrastructure – ranging from post-warranty support for existing hardware to short-term services and multi-vendor maintenance.
Lizzi Long, general manager of data centres at Interactive said this expansion was “the next logical step in supporting Dicker Data”.
"All of our hardware maintenance parts and devices are stored on-site with the data centres. Both of hardware and software services are essential foundations for any business, sharing a focus on delivering an exceptional customer service,” she said.
Commenting on this partnership, Long said, “this expansion provides another option in market for Dicker Data resellers to satisfy all of our customers’ needs, whether that be sovereign data centre, hybrid cloud or even cloud repatriation.”
Data centre services will be available to resellers based in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane. Long said this expansion delivers immediate, tangible benefits to their customers.
“By gaining access to our sovereign data centres in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane, customers can now leverage highly secure, enterprise-grade infrastructure that supports modern workloads, including AI, data analytics and hybrid cloud environments,” she said.
“It means improved business continuity, reduced latency and enhanced security, all hosted locally. For many, this is the key to accelerating digital transformation while maintaining full control over their data.”
Pennie Stevens, general manager of software ANZ, Dicker Data, said "We're pleased to be expanding our partnership with Interactive to offer their data centre services in Australia.
“We continue to see strong demand for hybrid cloud solutions, and this new offering from Interactive will enable partners of all sizes to access colocation services, and more, to support their customers' needs."
This partnership expansion is a clear demonstration of the Unite28 strategy in action, Long said.
"More importantly, what it means for our customers. At its core, Unite28 is about making collaboration easier and driving mutual growth across the tech ecosystem,” she explained.
“By deepening our long-standing partnership with Dicker Data, we’re not just expanding service capabilities, we’re empowering our partners to deliver more value to their customers.
Since working with Dicker Data since 2017, Long said this feels more like a “business relationship” rather than partnership.
"It is a partnership that allows both organisations to better serve the channel, to serve our customers better,” she said.
“By integrating our data centre capabilities with Dicker Data’s distribution strength, we’re delivering scalable, future-ready solutions to the market, and that’s something we’re incredibly proud of.”
