Paessler selects Hat to distribute MSP-focused partner program
The program aims to help MSPs grow and scale their business through a scalable and predictable model.
Network monitoring company Paessler has launched its new MSP program for Australia and New Zealand, which will be exclusively distributed through Hat Distribution.
The dedicated MSP program aims to give those specific partners an opportuntity to grow their business through a “scalable, predictable, and profitable” model.
Josh Gammer, Director at Hat Distribution told CRN Australia how MSPs can make money from this program.
“With flexible licensing, partners can align their costs with their client contracts, which means they’re not overcommitting upfront and can scale profitably as they grow,” he said.
“Beyond margins, the program provides tiered discounts, co-marketing support, and dedicated sales resources - all designed to help MSPs reduce churn, increase client stickiness, and expand their service offerings, which directly translates into new revenue opportunities.”
Gammer said Paessler chose the distie because of its proven track record in the ANZ market.
“For the past five years, we’ve been the exclusive distributor of PRTG, and over that time we’ve built deep relationships with partners, a strong reputation for technical enablement, and a clear understanding of how MSPs in this region operate,” he said.
“Paessler knows we can take this program to market effectively, support partners on the ground, and ensure that the value of their monitoring technology is fully realised across ANZ.”
Paessler has long supported partners, but this is the first time a program has been designed specifically for MSPs, Gammer said.
“The timing reflects the growing maturity of the MSP market here - we’ve seen demand skyrocket for flexible, subscription-based solutions as businesses shift to cloud-first and service-led models,” he explained.
“Paessler had already rolled out this MSP program successfully in Europe and the USA, and ANZ was the natural next step. It’s less about ‘why now’ and more about extending proven global success into a market ready for it.”
Edward Knight, director of MSP at Paessler noted the launch of this program is a response to growing market demand.
“We’ve designed it to give MSPs the flexibility they need to incorporate Paessler’s industry-leading monitoring technology into their own service offerings,” he said.
“With our flexible licensing and service-led model, MSPs can more easily integrate our solutions into their bespoke offerings, helping them deliver real value to their clients.”
Through this program, Gammer said they want to empower MSPs to scale faster, more profitably, and more sustainably.
“We want to remove barriers like rigid licensing and one-size-fits-all contracts, and instead give MSPs the flexibility to tailor solutions for each client,” he explained.
“Ultimately, we hope to see partners not only grow their revenues but also improve service quality, reduce support tickets, and deliver the kind of proactive IT outcomes that strengthen long-term client relationships.”
He has a message for MSPs: “If you're looking to differentiate your business, this program is designed for you.”
“Whether you’re focused on cloud, cybersecurity, or hybrid IT, the MSP Program will help you create new revenue streams, build client trust, and stay ahead in a highly competitive market,” Gammer added.
Gammer said Hat sees this more than just a licensing framework.
“It’s an ecosystem play. Partners will gain access to co-marketing funds, enablement training, dedicated sales resources, and a tiered discounting structure that rewards growth,” he said.
“This isn’t about selling software licenses, it’s about building long-term business success together.”
