Managed mobility and communication solutions company Imei has signed a five year deal with telco Telstra to deliver network and tech services to enterprise and government customers.

Under the agreement, the two companies will collaborate to provide a suite of connectivity and technology solutions.

This partnership will leverage Telstra’s extensive network assets and Imei’s expertise in managed mobility to accelerate digital transformation, enhance productivity, and support secure, scalable operations for customers across the country.

According to Imei, this multi million dollar deal will provide advanced 5G connectivity to integrated managed services, streamlined access to high-performance networks, robust security features, and bespoke solutions designed to empower customers in industries ranging from healthcare and education to logistics, financial services, and public administration.

Tim Fussell, founder and CEO at Imei told CRN Australia this is the third five-year partnership agreement the company has signed with Telstra.

“It is a continuation of the trusted and effective working relationship we have shared over two decades,” he said.

“Telstra provides the broadest mobile coverage and best 5G network in Australia for mid-market and enterprise customers which is the segment Imei serves.”

Fussell said with this deal they will continue to provide their customers with the market’s “strongest connectivity and service combination”.

“Technology changes often and rapidly, our customers are asking for a service provider that helps them get the best and most out of their communications infrastructure,” he said.

“The role Imei plays is to be that provider: lifecycle management of communications technologies from carriage to device to user support and eco-friendly recycling. We fill the gap when our customers are trying to manage hundreds, or thousands, of users and their communications devices.”

Fussel told CRN Australia this partnership agreement is a central component of Imei’s strategy to be the strongest whole-of-business communications services provider in Australia.

“We look to align with leading vendors, platforms, and technology providers – of which Telstra is a key partner,” he added.

Fussell said Imei provides value-added lifecycle management services on Telstra’s core carriage products – mobile and data – that improve customer satisfaction, and keep their employees connected and productive.

“Imei measures customer satisfaction using NPS and we have consistently scored over +80 in annually for the last 12 years. We believe that our customers will continue to get the highest performing connectivity with the best customer satisfaction in the market today,” he ended.
