Acer unveils new accelerate partner program in ANZ
Program aimed to grow Acer’s channel ecosystem.
Acer has unveiled its new accelerate partner program aimed to expand the company’s investment in partner engagement building a foundation to grow its channel ecosystem.
Aligning with the company’s renewed go-to-market strategy, the program signifies Acer’s revitalised focus on channel partner engagement and a collaborative, partner-centric approach.
Acer’s new partner program is designed for businesses of all sizes and verticals from SMB through to education, corporate and government.
Cameron Anderson, general manager, Acer Australia Commercial and New Zealand told CRN Australia the program will also nurture long-term relationships and drive mutual success.
In building the program, Anderson said the key was simplicity.
“Making the program easy to understand, track performance and be rewarded for the effort.” he said.
“One of the key features of the accelerate partner program is its compelling rebate structure, rewarding sales performance and increasing profitability opportunities for partners. Channel partners will start receiving rewards from the first $1 achieved across all three tiers.”
The Acer accelerate partner program offers three tiers of partnership that are designed to allow participants to deepen their business relationship and expand market reach and sales potential with Acer via a range of benefits and resources.
The program offers silver, gold and platinum partnerships, with differing criteria needing to be met to unlock access to each level.
Anderson spoke to Acer’s partners and resellers with three key concerns emerging, complexity, misalignment and lack of consultation.
“The Acer accelerate partner program is centred around engagement with the reseller channel and as such, we spent a good six to eight months discussing what a meaningful partner program looks like from a reseller’s perspective,” he said.
“Channel feedback was an integral part of designing the partner program.”
Other benefits for partners include access to training, roadmaps, incentives and rewards such as exclusive promotions.
“One of Acer’s primary points of difference is that we have dedicated local operations including warehousing, manufacturing and integration facilities in Homebush, Sydney,” Anderson explained.
“We also offer partners priority access to a dedicated local technical support, in addition to having Acer representatives located in every Australian state, as well as in New Zealand.”
Anderson concluded, “This partner program in another step forward in the ongoing Acer strategy of reseller channel engagement, support and client growth.”
