MSP Centorrino Technologies acquires Delivery Quality Assurance to deepen government footprint
Company launches consulting arm using DQA’s government, defence and critical infrastructure expertise.
Managed service provider Centorrino Technologies has acquired Delivery Quality Assurance (DQA) to evolve its service offerings and deepen its footprint in the federal and defence sectors.
According to Centorrino Technologies, DQA’s federal government, defence and critical infrastructure expertise as an as-a-service delivery partner, is set to bolster the company’s robust capabilities across managed IT services, cloud solutions, cyber security and project delivery.
The MSP has taken the opportunity to launch DQA’s consulting services with Steve Melville, former CEO and founder of DQA.
Melville will now be stepping into the role of head of consulting, providing strategy services directly to new and existing Centorrino Technologies customers.
Speaking to CRN Australia, Adam Centorrino, founder and CEO of Centorrino Technologies explains why his company acquired DQA.
“DQA has built a strong reputation for secure cloud adoption and expert delivery in protected environments, which aligns perfectly with our mission to support Australian organisations with trusted, high-calibre IT services,” he said.
“Melville and I had worked with some similar clients previously and when the opportunity arose we thought the match made commercial sense for both of our goals.”
Established in 2017, DQA has been a driving force behind secure cloud adoption for the Australian federal government, providing expert delivery, technical services and security services to customers in a protected security context.
Melville at DQA said the move has been positive for all of its people.
“Providing access to a larger capability set and a welcoming home for us to continue to deliver exceptional service and expertise to our wide range of customers, from the federal government to defence and intelligence industries,” he said.
“Centorrino’s vision for a new type of service business aligns with everything we have tried to achieve at DQA. We look forward to continuing to build on the successful foundations of both organisations to provide value to our mutual customers and partners.”
By integrating DQA’s team and launching Centorrino’s consulting division led by Melville, Centorrino said he is strengthening their main mission which has always been to provide the best, technology-led solutions and incredible customer experience throughout the nation.
“DQA brings deep, specialised experience in delivering services within highly secure environments - especially in protected cloud contexts for federal government and defence,” Centorrino said.
“While Centorrino Technologies already operates across these sectors, DQA’s niche expertise in secure, as-a-service delivery and its technical depth complement and expand our existing capabilities in cloud, cyber security and now brings a whole new consulting branch to the company’s offering.”
DQA will operate under the Centorrino Technologies banner and it will be business as ususal for its customers.
“For current DQA customers, it’s business as usual - with the added benefit of access to a broader service offering through Centorrino Technologies,” Centorrino said.
“For existing customers, this means an enhanced ability to deliver strategic consulting and secure IT solutions, especially in high-compliance sectors.
“The combined team increases our capacity and accelerates our ability to solve complex challenges across Australia, so essentially it’s expanded what’s possible for existing and potential Centorrino Technologies customers,” he ended.
Centorrino Technologies provides managed services and secure IT solutions across government and defence and intelligence sectors, alongside education, healthcare, critical infrastructure, not-for-profit and financial and professional organisations.
